Crap Comics Final Guest Special!

Today is the final day of Crap Comics Month! This means I never have to make any comics again EVER, which is frankly a good thing for everyone.

As a final farewell, here's a GUEST COMIC SPECIAL because, frankly, you've all suffered enough of my efforts. Click on the names for a comic.

Gareth Williams!

DW2K6!

Brian Blessed!

Brian Blessed again!

Halen Particle!

Right, that's enough of that. Here's a special message to anyone who has visited the site every day to see the comics: Sorry.

Ugh. This is my least favourite. But it is based on a real person! But not a real situation, obv. Thanks to Joachim K. for providing most of the 3D objects used for this one.

You can rescue the Galaxy

Gosh! It's a music video I made for the song 'Gunstorm' by Steven McLachlan!

The song is a parody of eighties' kids TV themes (think Pole Position, Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors, Ulysses 31 etc) and the video itself is a parody of Star Fleet, Terrahawks and to a lesser extent Fireball XL5 and Thunderbirds.

The song is available on iTunes here, and you can download a demo of the PC game Gunstorm 2 here.

NOTE: The video is also viewable at YouTube on Steven McLachlan's own channel. Please stop e-mailing me saying he stole it - he didn't, he's the singer!

Here's an announcement video I made for it:

Thanks to Narcoleptic Insomnia Productions for today's comic. I'm not familiar with most of the characters in it, but anything featuring a man shitting a fish is good by me.

WARNING: Imminent site fiddlings

I'm moving ashens.com to a different domain host - which means that this site will be unavailable from that URL for a short period, and may act a bit funny for a few hours when it comes back.

This change will make the site run slightly better and save me money, which will be nice.

NEO DOUBLE GAMES UPDATE: These have been selling much more quickly than I expected. There are still a few available.

Style roughly stolen from existing webcomic blah blah blah. The great thing about this joke is that a crappy Star Trek prequel has been announced since I wrote it, so it now works for both characters!

You are getting sleepy...

This should (hopefully) be the last review of anything that has exactly the same insides as the POP Station / Neo Double Games / PolyStation 3.

If you want a Neo Double Games unit, like maybe you have brain damage or something, simply pop over to shop.ashens.com. They're surprisingly expensive!

ALSO: Please stop e-mailing me about the 'Chintendo Vii' and the 'Tilt Angle' - I can't find any to review. Yet. (Although it seems the Vii would cost well over £100 so is out of the question anyway)

Site problems: Blogger FTP

Due to some horrid problem with the Blogger service which formats the pages for this site, I'm not currently able to update it. So this text may not appear until 2009 or something.

Also - I clocked on the wrong button and the template corrupted, which means the site may look funny for a bit. OH JOY.
